Ken Preston has been a CPA since 1977. He is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ken holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of North Carolina. He came to the Bay Area in 1979 from North Carolina and worked in a San Francisco public accounting firm as a manager and then as a partner until 1990. In 1990, Ken joined Bregante + Company LLP as a partner.

Ken works with a wide range of clients and is actively involved with individual, partnership and corporate taxes and tax planning. As audit partner of the firm, he is also responsible for all the audits, reviews and compilations that the firm performs for closely held businesses and nonprofit organizations. Ken often serves as a board advisor to the firm's nonprofit clients.
